1) The protagonist of this story has no name, but we know that she is a wife and a mother. Some desires of hers are to be loved, and understand what is going on with her husband. Some character traits that are important to note about the character is that she is blind, and confused to what is really happening.
2) The antagonist can be seen as her husband. The conflict between the antagonist and the protagonist is that there are secrets between them.
3) The theme of the story is trust and family issues. The author uses a mysterious tone in her writing, and subtext so that the audience has to find the underline meaning of the story.
4) The author’s tone of the story is a somber and a dark one. Techniques that help develop the author’s voice is having a plot twist which the family, mostly the relationship between the husband and the wife, changes drastically when she realizes that her husband was a werewolf.
5) The crisis in the story is that the husband was a werewolf, but it also confused me because it showed the event through the eyes of his wife, yet there is also an element of his wife who is also a werewolf. The wife realizes that her husband is a werewolf, but it is too late because he gets killed.
6) What I enjoyed about this story is that I liked the way the author uses the setting and the change of the husband to show the growth of the wife and their children. My favorite part is when she talks about the twilight of the sky, and how the children cowered under their mother as they see their father change and get killed by his pack.
